Somewhere along the coast

The sun slipped below the horizon tonight, slow and quiet, like it didn’t want to leave. I was standing there, barefoot in the sand, just watching the whole thing unfold. No agenda, no background noise—just the sound of the waves and the sky putting on a show.

The colors were wild—deep orange, red, and that soft violet that only shows up when the day’s officially clocking out. The ocean picked up every bit of it, glowing like it was holding onto the light as long as it could. The waves came in smooth, steady, like they had all the time in the world.

There was something about that moment. Not dramatic. Not life-changing. Just… still. I didn’t feel the need to talk or move or check anything. I just stood there, breathing it in. The air had that salty edge, the kind that sticks with you even after you’ve left the beach.

These kinds of sunsets don’t ask for anything. They don’t try to impress you. They just show up, do their thing, and disappear—like a quiet reminder to slow down for a minute and actually look.

If you ever get the chance to catch a sunset like that—take it. Doesn’t need to be planned. Just show up. That’s enough.

Love always
