Playing catch up on life and a little late
posting this one — but some moments are just too special not to share.
Our beautiful granddaughter Brylee Ann turned one year old, and what a milestone it was! It’s hard to believe how quickly time has flown — from those first little coos to big belly laughs and curious looks that melt our hearts every single time.
The day started with a simple chalkboard message — “Happy 1st Birthday Brylee Ann” — and ended with full hearts and memories we’ll cherish forever. Watching Grammy hold her close as she opened her gifts, and seeing Pop-Pop’s face light up when she smiled back at him — that’s the kind of joy you can’t put into words. ❤️
Between pink wrapping paper, tiny bows, and those sweet baby giggles, we were reminded that not every adventure needs palm trees or ocean views. Sometimes the greatest journeys take us down familiar highways — the ones that lead straight to family.
Celebrating Brylee Ann’s first birthday in southern Illinois was a perfect reminder that love and laughter travel with us wherever we go. No matter the miles, moments like these are what make the adventure truly worth it. ❤️Happy Birthday, sweet girl.
